MARINA ARIS
Books were Marina's lifeline as a child growing up in and out of the NY State foster care system. As a teen she turned to writing as a means of coping and making meaning of the adversity she faced. Today, Marina is founder of the award-winning Brooklyn Writers Press and AVANTHAM for teen writers, where she produces beautiful books that meet professional industry standards.
